I wouldn't be totally shocked to someday find out that the Faulkinberry Tower Bell has been artificial muffled all along.

With his being inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame at the last home game, I'm hoping that they will finally release "The Power of The Bell"

According to "Sam" there are many reasons to not use the bell...one mentioned to me was that bell tower also serves as a platform for a speaker....

Isn't it nice to know someone is listening to you even though they are 120 miles away & had to get a bell? One day the folks that have a bell might figure out it's okay to use it I guess.

I’ve been told the bell is not a fully functional bell. Any sound it makes is an electronic sound of a bell! If that is true, why was it ever constructed?

The bell hasn't been gelded...it has all its parts to ring....

If this is true they should be able to make it as loud as they want. Much louder than it is now.
