Louisiana football's game at Southern Miss on Oct. 27 will air nationally on ESPN2 at 6:30 p.m., ESPN and the Sun Belt Conference announced Friday.

Are they the only Sun Belt school that shuts down classes for mid week games? That should be a trend. Make it like Saturday on Wednesday or Thursday. With class the next day all the kids that live on campus and typically go home on the weekend would still be in town. Have profs give points with proof of attendance.

Our kids would just make that another weekend . . . unless you do the points thingy . . . should be able to just scan ID’s straight into attendance records . . . Aren’t we a great computer science school . . .
