I lived in Tallahassee in 1989 when Bobby Bowden was the coach at FSU. Tallahassee is similar to Baton Rouge. It has two major universities and like Baton Rouge, it is the state capital. The big difference is, Tallahassee is surrounded by a forest, Baton Rouge is surrounded by refineries.

Going to an FSU game is quite an experience. Watching Chief Osceola throw down the lit spear when Renegade rears up, is one of the great traditions in college sports.

Going to USM and San Marcos. I just can't pass up a trip to TX State. Best road trip in the Belt.

The square, the campus, the stadium, San Marcos river, Lockhart BBQ. It's easily the best drivable trip in the Sunbelt for us.

This game needs to always be early in the year so me and my demon spawn can enjoy tubing on the river and then hop over to Barton springs. But there's always plenty to do around there

We’re also going on the FSU road trip. We haven’t heard back on tickets.

Our next road trip is USM at the end of the month.

does the ticket office have USM tickets? I don't want to be by the USM student section which is where I'll end up if I let my daughter buy the tickets

So it's the BBQ. USM & USA are both closer in time & proximity. And USM has the finest women in the world. My high school in Hattiesburg was only 350 students 9-12. I went to school with Miss America & she wasn't even the finest girl in my high school.

Well somebody went to school with Ali Landry, and she was the finest girl in the world. Some Hoax fans went to school with a couple Miss Louisiana in MoanRow and they were definitely fine.
