Kids love a mascot, it doesn’t matter what it is. A good mascot has them eating out his hands.

    $1000 Honorary Captain

    $500 Pre-game sideline access...Hour plus on field/sidelines

    You get the idea...
I would not do any of those things. I just like tailgating, watching the marching band do their pre game by the band stage and getting to my seat. All those would disrupt my game day routine.

All those are great ideas for a select few.

I would have secret unanouced giveaways to the spirit boosters that participate.

The years long advertising UL gets from participants talking to friends about the experience would be priceless.

What about first pitch at a softball game?

Presenting umpire with lineup card (not sure if this is a thing?)

    Leading post-game “Ragin Cajun” chant?

    I personally wouldn't.

As the Pride of Louisiana forms a line for the team to run through to start the game, let the kids on the field to form an extension of that line. Some schools have the students do this. Maybe try it with kids. What a great experience that would be for them. That would also force parents to get in the stadium much earlier, catching the pre-game performance of the Band, so kids could be organized on the field.

TBH, I'd be cool with first pitch of a baseball game.

I don't know if my ego could take first pitch of a softball game.

You would only have to throw it about 43 feet instead of 60.

Sell these event items at an auction where people get caught up in the moment with friends.
