Preach! This is the turning point in our overall athletic department.

The last 10 years (Hud &CBN) has shown us we need to separate the RCAF and get serious about fund raising.

- The unfunded Cajun Fieldstadium project.
-Lame duck MBB coach we can't afford to fire.
- CBN provided an organizational playbook for success and we can't afford to fund it.
- We still don't have a clubhouse for baseball. We owe that to Tony!

Our administration has underfunded our FB program and expecting miracle results. That's called a hope and a dream. It's not sustainable.

I hope the fans continue to support CMD and I also hope CMD has enough passion for the program to call out the administration. Surprisingly, most fans and supporters may have his back.

The money was offered to fire Marlin and Maggard didn't pull the trigger. Mike will not call out the administration.

What things we know?

Napier left.

We made a hire at $1,250,000 less than what Napier was making.

Many positions filled with expensive salaries while Napier was here are no longer there and have not been replaced.

Maggard is very understaffed and not hiring.

Attendance and season tickets sales have been horribly low considering performance.

All, and I mean all of these are consistent with the positions I have taken.

Everybody else here have questions with no answers. Believe who you want because it’s you right. I could give a rats ass.

Dr. Maggard or CMD being transparent and honest about the lack of athletic funding by Martin Hall could finally unite the divided fan base to work “together” for what’s right. We need a bold administration, who will allow the entire university to thrive at a national level.

I am tired of the know your place or USL philosophy for athletics. It’s like LSU was threatened when Louisiana football was ranked and they were not. It feels like we have an invisible ceiling not allowing our athletic department to succeed. Is it politics that we are not allowing Dr. Maggard the funds to do his job?

When money is not there, it is just not there. The dice were rolled with Napier and assistant funding. The investment paid off with performance. The investment did not pay off on the money side in that the performance did not result in increased attendance to keep that level going. We are back on financial hard times again. If we want to keep up at the level things were when Napier was here, we either need to boost attendance or find a money tree. Louisiana is doing its part and has doubled down with the planned stadium renovations. If that does not boost attendance, who knows where things will land.
