I will excuse them a little here as they can't even get momentum going before they make contact. They are getting hit behind the line and are able to fight to line of scrimmage. I liken it to Derek Henry, widely considered one of the best rbs over the past 15 years. If the dline gets any push he doesn't get momentum going and gets tackled behind line of scrimmage.
Maybe if we double down once again it will work
Where can I get a USL shirt?
Changing my post…obviously the powers that run the program want zero criticism. The talk of “investors”, “shareholders”, “stakeholders” rings very hollow when the product produces embarrassing results and people in positions of power get upset.
QUESTION: Is the offense still running Napier's playbook? If they aren't, WHY NOT??

I see similarities in the play design. The problem is we don't have the players executing. Execution along the o-line took several steps backwards, which impacts the running backs. I think we lost a lot of talented personnel due to graduation/transfer, and we didn't have guys to replace them and not see a drop off.
Your excuse is justified I think….looked like no place to go behind or at the LOS….so assignments or ability or bad call against a certain defense!
