    UL Softball Softball Committee

The NCAA Division 1 Softball Committee has four new members entering the 2023 season.

Wichita State head coach Kristi Bredbenner, Louisiana Senior Woman Administrator Jessica Leger, Clemson Senior Woman Administrator Natalie Honnen, and UT-Martin athletic director Kurt McGuffin were selected for the committee in terms that began in September.

Bredbenner will serve a three-year term on the committee, as she is completing the tenure begun by former Memphis head coach Natalie Poole last year. Leger, Honnen, and McGuffin are slated to each serve 4-year terms on the committee.

It is always good to have your own representation on any committee.

It didn't help when Farmer was the Chair, but he took the job so serious he wouldn't even talk about the Lady Cajuns back then.

I think a relaxed attitude with a little pride and some story telling mixed in can go a long way towords helping with a slight seed bump.

I have heard that these representatives must leave the room when considering their schools for bids, seedings, hosting etc.

That's what I've been told as well.

Lots of other time for story telling.
