Coach just said Fields is his starter.
If he tears up season gameplan, he loses credibility basically.
It’s ok to adjust on the fly. Making adjustments is what makes certain coaches great. I don’t think he would lose all credibility. If something isn’t working then fix it. I just have a feeling that if we continue the 2 qb system we will see games like Rice and the first half of EMU. I also have a feeling that Ben will get eventually start to get the majority of the snaps.
Positive takeaways from an otherwise horrible game. Turnover margin is still great. It’s a carryover of discipline. The int is a very teachable moment. Don’t throw into double coverage. Along with this is the intangible value of luck. Something we’ve been in the right side more often than not since Hud arrived.
Punting game is solid as its ever been.
And if this team can have a game to “get it right”, ulm is the right opponent.
You focused on correcting the money. What about the first paragraph? Other than the one offensive lineman Napier took with him (likely an All American this year), if Napier stayed, he would have the same line Des has, correct? I didn't think we were supposed to be rebuilding the line. However, the OL did not look good against Rice. We couldn't throw or run.
