It's not Napier's fault we all would have left for a better job that's why they take coaching jobs like UL. With the portal this will be the norm good players leaving. He made a coaching recommendation; our administration took the cheap way out instead of building on our momentum. Who knows what players a coach from outside of the Cajun circle would bring with him. It is what it is I hope we right the ship I know it's one game, but my concern is if this becomes the norm how long is the rope before we make a change, I hope not Marlin long.

Everything wrong with the offense starts with the OL. It affects the play calling, the QB play and the RB play.

But, you’re right. Smith is not a starting RB. He’s a change of pace guy. He can be very effective at that. The problem is there is no starting RB on the roster.

Bottom line, it’s a train wreck.

Unlike baseball where the off speed pitch is slower, Smith's success has been his up tempo change of pace runs that have historically caught defenses off guard.

I'm not sure how that works. The offense doesn't get any yards off turnovers. Do you mean the offense got extra touches because of turnovers? More touches than if Rice punted or scored?
