LSU and Alabama would be right. LSU sees it as the biggest rival and Alabama fans see Auburn and Tennessee as bigger rivals.

The Alumni Association is throwing a $50/person tailgate outside of the stadium prior to the game. I'm more of an "ice chest and lawn chair in the parking lot" kind of guy...who's with me?

We’ll be tailgating out of the back of my truck.

BTW, got my call this morning from the Cajundome and secured my 8 tickets. We ready.

I got a call from our ticket office yesterday afternoon; I called back this morning and paid for them. I think we had to reserve what we wanted back in June or July which I did. There was an email sent out in reference to the Rice game tickets.

All Alumni Association staff will be in Houston handling the Friday night get together and tailgating event on Saturday. Like many campus groups these days, they are shorthanded. No one is available to lead a bus trip. Volunteers handled the NO Bowl trip last December but those people are spending the weekend in Houston.

They are short handed and so is the RCAF, down to 2 employees. Why are they always so slow to replace people who leave? It's really frustrating, could be so much better.

$50....They obviously needed a few sponsors?

That was my reaction. Not real economic to ask me to drop $250 on tailgating.

Is this a setup for future "not worth it"s?

Three times what it costs at home?

T is right, they need to subsidize this and put it on the same plane as a home game.

Well, the race is on...what happens first, Cajun Field renovations completed or the $130 million+ US 90 and Ambassador interchange?

The interchange. They started clearing land this week. Hopefully it doesn’t take as long as the last overpass they did in Broussard. I drove through that construction area for years.
