One thing that has been asked for and continually denied is gear with "Cajuns" on it, whether in script or just block lettering. We have so many alumni that would buy something with USL on it, but again, Martin Hall says NO.
This is a big, NO HUGE, problem! We cannot continue to throw our history away. It is time for Martin Hall to get out of the way and listen to our alums and supporters.

Having a 3rd party run the store is a good idea BUT, someone at the University should have final say in approving every single item being sold.

The reason they have been so hesitant is because they can't trademark "Cajuns"

What they fail to realize is "so what"

They can trademark a design and even without any trademark they can own the name organically and sell truckloads of shirts to non sports fans, otherwise known as real life Cajuns around the world.
