Great job guys. If LL2 moves to receiver and into the rotation then someone needs to come out. IMO one of the biggest problems with our very talented receiver corps is they play to many and our 2 deep isn’t able to get lathered up and into a good rhythm. Need to trim down those numbers to get your best receivers more instinct in timing with the 2 inexperienced QBs.
Thanks to everyone that has been listening.
While I agree with everyone about the receivers, keeping everyone happy is a delicate balance. I think that early on, you have to rotate in and out and keep guys fresh in the heat and the humidity. Also, you want to see how guys react to the game experience. Some are practice guys, not Brett Baer, and some are game guys, Brett Baer.
I will trust the process and see how it plays out through the season. We have played two games, and we are 2-0.
Again, thank you for listening.
Enjoyed listening this morning. I also didn't know the background of ZZ Top's Lagrange. I just thought it was a song about the town, LOL
the old chicken shaq!!! good listening for all
Thanks, guys. Jay and I love music and try stumping each other with trivia. So, I thought it would be nice to share with others.
Just getting to your podcast. I also knew about the Lagrange back story. ZZ Top was my favorite band growing up in the 70s. We wore out that Tres Hombres 8 track.
BTW, let Jay know that waiting for the bus/Jesus just left Chicago is on Tres Hombres. He was probably thinking it was on Rio Grand Mud.

First, thanks for listening. You are a few years older than me. I do not think I listened to a ZZ Top album until their album Tejas in 1976, and probably more so their first greatest hits album in 1977. Music has such a strong place in my life. Moving around as we did, I remember the location by the popular music at the time.
