Burton is supposed to play RG

Wonder if they are moving Jax to center

Burton will play sparingly….a couple series in each half.

I’ll be watching that closely. I really think the coaches like the leadership aspect that Hudson brings to the line. But not sure if it’s enough to overcome lack of size and strength. Maybe Jax will rotate to give Hudson and burton breaks.

Hudson is a great kid but he has gotten bullied multiple times in the last 2 games.

Agreed. But is he the best at lining us up and calling out schemes and shifts? And does that outweigh the size limitation? Idk. But we will find out I guess. If Burton’s in with Hudson….

How do we know Burton can’t do those things? He was the starter before the injury. I’m sure he’ll be just fine making the calls.

Sure. Traditionally the center makes the calls. I don’t think burton is an option at center.

Jax isn't rotating with those guys.

I like that strategy. It has been forever since he had live game reps. Get him a few, get his confidence going and get him ready for the heavy part of the conference schedule.

Probably a week or two away from starting. He has to get his conditioning back.

Pretty sure that’s where he was before he got hurt.
