A&M IS 1-1 and ranked above the team that beat them… they only have an FCS win…Texas got ranked for losing!!! That would never happen to a G5 team if they would lose by one to Bama.

The thing that ____es me off is that EVERYONE ON FBS is supposed to be held to the same standard and today proves that their is bias beyond all reasonable doubt in the rankings.

Anyone who thinks rankings prior to the 5-6 week of the season are worth a flip need to hop in an MRI machine. They are only there to get me excited about watching #6 aTm vs #17 Boston College or whoever they decide to rank to juice the tv ratings.

The only thing the CFB committee has ever gotten right is to wait to rank the teams until whatever week they rank them. That’s the only time rankings are worth a flip because you can see how good a team actually is on the field.

The preseason rankings are nothing but a beauty contest.
