That's sad, if true. Seems the smaller the town, smaller the try. Come to Albuquerque or Houston, and events are commingled all the time - with businesses benefitting bilaterally.

It's a shame, really, to see/hear this from afar.

So it in fact would generate more money if concession would get their heads out of their asses.

If this is the problem and so say won’t be fixed till the renovations are done then we might as well stop selling tickets and try to cater to the diehards that are left.

Cajun Basin should be the destination.

    Football Game: Main Attraction.

    Tailgating: Opening Act

Concert: Concerts make more money than MBL AND NBA

    Food Trucks: No brainer

Attend one or attend all, just get inside of Cajun Basin.

You are correct but a independent Cajun Basin Bash FIVE football days a year and perhaps a baseball day or two as well might grow legs.

Why wouldn’t you have food trucks, and drink vendors no brainer.

Think the last 4 pages are identifying the problem, and the most innovative solutions to those problems

What will it take to rip up the Sodexo contract?

Trying to think about how to leverage Moncus Park. Farmers' Market is already going, start a concert series on gamedays, have the buses with police escort make the loop on Johnston before Cajun Walk so everyone in the park hears the sirens, have the band and spirit squads show up at the park to mingle before leading the buses down Bertrand.

Who would we get to replace them, we need some one that is willing to make these changes. Could we hire the same people that do big events like Festival International to do Cajun Games.

You make the Gameday like a festival. They would have to plan 5 festival a year inside and outside Cajun Field.

This has nothing to do with this thread topic, but I was walking around campus before the game last week and was imagining/dreaming about how awesome Cajun Field/McNapsy would be on campus and how the campus would probably be buzzing with energy. Ahhh to dream.

    That’s what we talking about.

We have 5 Ragin Cajun festivals a year at Cajun Field with Ragin Cajun football being the main event.

It needs to be setup like a festival. You should walk into Cajun Field and have Festival International Vibe or Festival Des Acadian vibes, or the Crawfish Festixal
