Louisiana falls to 44th in Coaches Poll

Ehh. Kinda expected. We lost a lot of talent and have a new coach so no one is really paying attention. Still a lot to play out but if we are undefeated after the Marshall game we should be knocking on door if not already in.

We complain about the schedule here but I love how this year is setup from a program building aspect. Every game is progressively harder as the season goes and that gives the young guys a chance to develop.
Also as fan every game is drivable outside of Marshall. We might not be top 25 again this year but I believe this could the building year of something great.

We will not be ranked in any poll unless we are 6-0, which means we would win every game leading up to the Marshall game at Marshall and we Beat Marshall at Marshall. I think that is when they put us at 24/25 ish ranking. This is very possible, but that Marshall game will be tough!

If we are 6-0 headed into Marshall we will be ranked. It helps promote ESPNs midweek game.
