Remember when we all laughed at Yulman stadium? Now look who’s laughing.

Yeah, they did it right. I would love a stadium like Yulman. Stick it right next to Girard Park behind EK Long. How awesome would that be?

I'm starting to think that spending 60 million + on a stadium for a school that it's own administration, UL alumni and students, Lafayette, and the surrounding parishes refuse to support is not a wise decision. But that's just me.

Not sure that they refuse to support. They’ve not been truly been made to feel wanted or needed. Maybe if they had enough ticket takers to not create a massive bottleneck. Had enough concession stands to not miss almost an entire quarter of the game, and tv monitors throughout the stadium. Our fans and fans in general are becoming softer every year.

Let’s not forget hiring a Greek assassin to kill the Greeks, herding the students away from the area reserved for them.

I understand that there is a high level meeting about the stadium this week. Sounded like the “go ahead” may be given. Anyone else heard this?

Dont hold your breath. Meeting is more than likely to but reno on hold till interest rates and materials go down.
