It rained for 6 hours during tailgate time. Very heavy at times. I’m surprised that 16k (reported) showed up.
SLU didn’t travel either.
Not making an excuse, but sometimes you have to acknowledge the circumstances.
I still have hope for the community. They’ve showed out before. Can they do it again with a home town guy coaching and a winning program?
How were the concessions?
Before the game the downstairs main concession stands were full with long lines. Just before halftime upstairs main concession stand was very quick to get what you need. The one off to the side when you get either beer, soft drink, chips, and candy not so much. three people in front of me just getting one beer with five people work in the stand take an average of one to two minutes just to pay for and then they open your beer for you. A little slow but what can you ask for when is volunteers working. Not complaining just was in a rush to get the granddaughter some candy and chips so we could get back and watch the band for the halftime show.
Were the local vendors nice to have?
If you got the grand daughter a beer she would enjoy the band more . . . Just sayin
