By the way to answer your question about the volume of the scoreboard speakers, it was loud but not as loud as in the past where it was overbearing. I thought it was perfect but then again maybe my hearing is going out. Others with 2020 hearing may better articulate.
👍 not sure if this comes out but it’s a thumbs up!
I talk to folks every day in and around the acadiana area that claim they are sports fans of the Cajuns. 75% of those folks have no clue that the Cajuns have been ranked in the top 20 for the last two seasons, no clue about the longest win streak in the nation, or no clue most of the time when or who they are even playing. Marketing, game day experience, facilities improvements, and scheduling must improve to draw bigger crowds.
I hear what you’re saying and agree with most of what you have written. For the casual fan I think it’s just about an outing with the family. After the game I saw a family with kids and they were on the back of the pick up truck changing diapers. We just need to find an easy way for the casual fans to participate. I don’t have the answer but may be others do. Geaux Cajuns!
