We can beat anyone on our schedule.

Anyone on our schedule can beat us.

We're going to be good. But our margin for error has diminished considerably. We are not as talented as we were a year ago.

And, this year, more than ever, turnover margin is going to be key.

I don't know what our record will be. But I know what it CAN be.

Until we see what this staff brings and what talent we have playing, it's all a crap shoot. I can't wait to see this new era of Cajun Football. Things I will be looking for in this game.

Are we prepared as a team? Do the players look confident, play with aggression, keep penalties to a minimum.

Is there team energy?

Success of the running game. Vision, balance and strength of the RB's.

Do we win the Line of Scrimmage of both sides?

Chandler's accuracy and poise. Both are high on my QB's list of having success.

Special teams play. Super important on winning close games down the road.

Are the WR's ready to step up and be the asset everyone hopes?

Can the defense adjust to the opponent? Are we as aggressive on defense as the past 2 years?

Coach Des play calling and game time decision making.

On and on. So many questions, that will start to get answered. It will be fun.

yall are overthinking this. if the OL can stay healthy this team will easily win 10 games. defense loaded. special teams loaded. offense loaded on the outside. best TE group in the conference and could be a top TE group in G5. new Qb will make mistakes for the first month and then will be fine. the schedule is charmin ultra soft. no excuses

This roster is loaded with talent. the players just have to keep a chip on their shoulder and go out for blood. that damn simple.

Lots of new talent. Backups esp. They will make mistakes. How many and at what critical point in the game will determine how we’ll we do. I think avoiding early injuries to our seasoned players will also determine early success or loses. Hope our veteran players don’t let our youngsters believe that we’re automatic winners over anybody.
