Lots of new talent. Backups esp. They will make mistakes. How many and at what critical point in the game will determine how we’ll we do. I think avoiding early injuries to our seasoned players will also determine early success or loses. Hope our veteran players don’t let our youngsters believe that we’re automatic winners over anybody.
Jay is right.
So with that in mind just a reminder, the football has pointed ends that can turn a game on its head.
Its sports, nothing is guaranteed. there is and will always be a level of " if my team does XYZ, then we will win" At the end of the day, this years team is more talented than each opponent it will face except FSU, which has its own set of flaws that allow anyone to rightfully argue the Cajuns can win that game also. 12-0 sure is possible and yes a lot of things need to fall in place. again that's every team in every sport that has a great record. Everyone needs things to fall just right for them. Louisiana is not some outlier that the rest of the country dont have to concern themselves with.
Our 11 dudes gotta line up against their 11 dudes. All 22 dudes are college athletes.
15 years ago today, a little FCS team went into a stadium called “the big house” and beat one of the best CFB programs and walked away with a $400k check.
then the mountaineers went on to win an fcs national championship and michigan lost 3 games in a weak big 10
the better team won that day. selou aint better than the cajuns
Couldn't this have just gone in the predictions thread?
