I Played the position in a flexbone offense. The funniest part in that offense was calling the blocking assignments.

With the depth at DB, I would not hurry him back for OOC games, until he is 100%.

Based upon Coach Des recent comments, it doesn’t sound like Burton is out for the season.

Again, I will trust the process.
C is a position of intelligence also

We all know that center is a cerebral position and needs to be able to make the calls. But we are also all fooling ourselves if we don’t think our 2 deep is a huge liability on the offensive line. If any team lines up their version of our Taylen Humphrey from last year or Dalvin Hutchinson or Ja Quane Nelson from this year head up against those 2 we are gonna be in a world of hurt. Huge mismatches. This obviously wasn’t plan A.

If you’ve got the 2nd half of the NOLA bowl recorded go watch the 2nd half. This kid starting couldn’t hold Shane’s jock. He got used and abused by Marshall.

I will agree with you he got molested a few times last year. What I found interesting Tim called Hudson a veteran player who can fill in when needed. I don't think he was their starter until Burton got injured.

Southeastern ain't Marshal, we'll be fine for a few games until it irons itself outI just hope the snaps are good, blocking will take care of itself in a variety of ways.
