This time next year well be talking a 27 game winning streak....

  4. Default Re: Louisiana 130 in strength of schedule

UL might want to steer clear of negotiating with a P5 for the time being.

    You are right.

Rarely does this preseason number hold up but I will be mildly surprised if Louisiana gets in the top 100.

Just by winning they keep the SOS down.

We need several teams to pull upsets. GS, USM, Troy, GSU. A Hoax super upset would be a heaven gift.

  9. Default Re: Louisiana 130 in strength of schedule

Does it matter how many wins we have unless we go undefeated with that SOS? Looks like the best case scenario is traveling to NOLA again for a bowl.

Even going 12-0, we won't get in the NY6 game with this schedule.

Only way posible would be if we have a couple of Top-20 wins in conference games. Basically, we would have to be 13-0 and App and Marshall go 11-1 or 12-1.

This underscores the value of starting the season ranked.

We need to stomp in our first few games. That with the longest winning streak in the country by over double will get attention again . . .
