I love the energy you put into the name thing, but its okay sometimes to honor the past. We dont need to erase history completely. That one sign does nothing to stunt our progress in our branding initiative.

I'm not erasing history. UL has a proud history to be maintained. But, it is marketing our name. I feel the same about the Pride of Acadiana. Should be the Pride of Louisiana. That is who we are NOW. I'll bet you don't still wear USL gear. It's the same with Southwestern. It is the past and no longer who we are now. We need consistent marketing and name recognition.
