    UL Football NMSU

Opponent in 23/24 Saw some of their game against Nevada last night. Surprised by the Defense. Gave up 267 total yards and kept the team in the game despite 5 TO’s by the Offense. They clean up some of that and might compete.

Fell asleep on that one. It was a strange day…UCONN lead for almost a half and Vandy hung 60+ on Hawaii. Other than basketball, Vanderbilt doesn’t hang 60 on anyone.

Jerry Kill is their new coach. He's a good one.

Is this the guy who coached at Minnesota and retired due to health issues? If so I remember him having the gophers trending upwards.

If that is him, and I think it is also, he was at Northern Illinois before Minnesota, and had them in the NY6 bowl game; if I remember correctly.

Mrs Express and I attended a Louisiana game in Las Cruses. They shut off the lights before the crowd was safely out of the stadium. The town was pleasant and somewhat boring. I see they reduced the stadium capacity to less than 30K.

Honestly I can’t believe we lost the game but I believe we did.

Me and my pops drove there on a whim for a game. Been awhile. Harris and McGuire were there. We won 42ish to 16ish. We were walking out of the stadium after and they had fireworks. Some student walking next to us said “even our fireworks suck!!” We laughed all the way back to fort Stockton that night.
