Thread: Freshman class at Cajun field

  1. Default Re: Freshman class at Cajun field

It’s the same as trying to isolate one play in a game as being the “most important” or “determining factor” in the outcome of the game. You can’t ignore any of the whole body of work.

Black has become an integral color in the body of work which makes up the image of the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns . . .

This debate was held leading up to 1999 for the centennial celebration when the designers of the new Hot Wheels, Ragin' Cajuns logo and unique numbers font specifically said the black was solely for background contrast.

The worry at the time was the ill informed would misinterpret . Worries well founded.

They did not do this when I was a freshman many years ago. Wish they would have. This is an excellent idea to get them Ragin’ Cajun gear and show them where it goes down. Can gain some student fans like this.

They had a new student convocation at the Cajun dome and then they went across the street to Cajun field for the photo, food and fire works

Awesome, great job whoever put this together. Keep it up.

Love how they got to hang out at Cajun Field, should hold Lagniappe Week (and other events) there on the concourse and let students hang out in there. More often they're there, more connected they'll feel.

Without turf it would be a mud pit about now.

Turf probably helps with cleanup as well.

I hope this class is the first to bring it to Cajun Field. I would love for them to get their own sitting area, and be able to walk out on the field before the game, then up to their section.

That would generate some excitement and a sense of belonging.

    GEAUX CAJUNS!

I hope it's mandatory to attend the first game. Aren't they required to enter they the tunnel in game 1?

Now how awesome would it be to have the students enter each game through the tunnel and then filter into the Red Zone?
