I totally agree. We have, IMO, all the ingredients here to take off! Just need to let the not-yet-fans to find us!

So T, with the 17 you have listed, and the target being 22, what slots do you think they have left to fill?

I am going with DT, OT and LB and maybe hold a couple for February.

Yet 247 only has 10 listed. Is it me or are they not updating our list like in years past

I haven't spoken to them, but I've heard the 22 scholarships number on several occasions. This is simply my opinion, but I could see several more OL, specifically tackles with more length. I wouldn't be surprised if they sign 1, or 2 more DL with a number of players graduating. You never know, those numbers change as players transfer out.

Both Rivals and 247 don't have publishers running sites that cover UL. So many of these athlete's profiles are not updated and rated. To my knowledge there are at least 10, maybe more 3 stars in this current class. But of course several have been down graded.

Downgraded before the first jamboree games. Oh well?

…So T….do we want publishers running sites? if so why not?

It seems to me keeping super quiet in a very noisy recruiting world is a good thing. With every larger school chasing stars. or possibly recruits leveraging stars/ranking for NIL bidding. In this new era, less noise is best.

Baldwin was ahead of his time.

He was flat out paranoid that if word got out he was recruiting a player the big boys would steal his work.

That's only one side of the coin though.

Players like to go where there is a buzz, not silence.

If you want coverage, sure. Many people don't care about the daily grind recruiting, so it's very hard to build a following. The last publisher covered multiple programs because there is not enough income to cover just the Ragin Cajuns. It's life as a G5.
