I think if you look at this from an "outsiders" perspective, vice someone with detailed info about our past; one of the obvious choices is Ron Guidry. Yankees reach a very wide audience. Unfortunetly, I'd bet a lot of folks outside this state wouldn't realize he went to UL (USL).
