    Hint: it wasn’t great.

We are gonna miss that dude big time.
also faced an AA running back so it was a little skewed

Hopefully Hutchinson can stay heathy think he helps in that department

Narcisse & Nelson and to smaller extent Hazard… will be very good for us.

And while the RB core is thin, the defensive line just has thinner players. There isn't an eclipse like Humphrey this year. I realize somebody of his size doesn't come along too often, but he did plug a big azzed hole. I think the depth is there, but the lack of that one piece might have a bit of an impact.
I agree CM with T, that RB depth is pretty good for guys that can come in and do a serviceable job. My concern at that position is the level of skill or talent. I think it's going to be a drop off from the last 8 years or so. This team has thrived on great running and a defense, not good running. I am enthusiastic at the potential for a better passing game though, and that would help tremendously. Maybe the impact on the running game won't be an issue.

Are you referring to Jamelle Franklin?

We were also on the Ethan Fields kid (OL) from Dutchtown that committed to Purdue, I think. We're still in on Hudson Perroni (OL) too, out of Houston.

In case any of you are able to make it to practice, there are several number changes from last year according to the rosters listed on the website:

    Chris Smith 13 (was 21)
    Brandon Bishop 2 (was 25)
    Jacob Bernard 4 (was 86)
    Neal Johnson 9 (was 87)
    Kaleb Carter 16 (was 26)
    Chandler Fields 18 (was 16)
    AJ Riley 19 (was 95)
    Patrick Mensah 22 (was 13)
    Eric Garror 7 (was 19)
    Lance Legendre 9 (was 13)
    Jayrin Wilson 9 (was 28)

There could be others. Those are the ones I caught.

Is Jayrin Wilson still on the team?

    I was told otherwise
