Looks like D is winning in that short clip.
3 for 5 completions and a TD in tight coverage . . . Not to fast my man
I counted 2 completion. The ball definitely hit turf on the fade to 7 in the end zone.
Those 2, Stephens and Jefferson, will be tough covers for anybody.
MJ is a stud who will only get better this year. I think JSJ makes a big move up this year as well. I think overall we might have the best group (not the best single WR) in the league and we have the best Secondary (again maybe not the best single player), but best group of Secondary and best group of WR's in the league.
LFG!!!!!
We have played so many in the past it is hard for any one to have gaudy numbers that really stand out. In some games last year I think the number got well up into the teens on the number of receivers we played. Almost to the point where it would make it hard for your ones and 2s to stay lathered up and in the flow of the game at times. I would rather see coach Leger pick his top 8 or so and go with that rotation for the most part. But you are correct as a group I don't see anyone being better.
I think Trey Amos just might become the single best cover guy in this league. I am hearing from a few guys in camp that he looks NFL ready right now out there.
If I remember correctly, Jefferson was the one with the "gaudy" YAC numbers.
