Des has always had my support. I have only disagreed with one decision he has made in his entire short career. That does not mean I have ever stopped supporting him.

.....I tried to get him here when he was at CHSNI....loved all the positions he and his bro played at UL....tried to get and got Tater to talk with him....loved his desire and attitude coming back from the accident....Why wouldnt anybody not want to play for him??? But there is something else....the guy is smart!

Good interview, I hope Coach Des does well, I truly do. He's a good guy, and seems to have the right mindset to handle the job. It's all about results and winning games, and that's where he will ultimately be judged.

I think his comments on Jones/Smith answers on NIL may give more insight into recruiting. Looking for those very talented kids, that are also very appreciative and won’t leave because they feel this is home. Seems to fit the profile of current verbal commits, as far as I can tell.
