Well, it’s 2022, time to get to work. Other than changing the RCAF donation timing and removing the number of total members off your member number RCAF page, it’s been crickets. Pretty decent overall good program year, and NOBODY is seizing the momentum carry over.

Promotion has been an embarrassment. There’s no way around it. I gave them a pass because of skeleton crew and off season but it’s august. Still weak af. Creative team has taken a significant step back.

As far as media… Another example of communication department ____ery: We talked to Des a couple weeks after the bowl game. Said he’d love to come onto Ragin Review and talk about the program and his experiences since being hired. We’ve talked 2 times since then about it. He’s ready to do it.

Since that first convo, we’ve approached Brunner, Nico, et al about it. Can’t even get a response. Not even a GD email. HOWEVER, they have Mike going on some obscure podcast from some dude in Texas.

Guess the “policy” doesn’t stretch out to Texas… FOH

If you're talking about the interview with Netherton, he's an actual member of the media with a radio show. Slight step up from a podcaster.

The guy works for an AM station in Shreveport. The YouTube channel looks like a podcast. If it was in conjunction with the station, it was confusing. Which still accomplishes the point.

I'm confused. So, if you're a member of the radio "media" that automatically gives you more credibility than a Podcaster? Also, just curious, how old are you?

Any random person can start a podcast. Yes, people who are employed in media have more credibility when it comes to being granted interviews.

Casual fans won’t hunt for podcasts and such. Casual fans and students are the markets so untapped. If we keep USL’ing it, the future isn’t bright.

Lots of Rogan fans in here. Would be interesting what they thought about this last comment. This ain’t Capitol Hill buddy. It’s G5 football. Podcasters, in many cases, are more suited for interviews with the teams they follow than FM/AM morning drive guy.

Louisiana's media relations dept. clearly has one foot in the past and one foot in the future while failing to grasp the present.

    DING DING DING!!!!!! THIS.

Plus if you give access to one fan then you open up Pandora’s box and you’ll have to give access to all fans. “By the fans for the fans” Where would you draw the line. If I call for access to mike will they grant it?

Apparently you haven't listened to any of the RR pods. The list of guest are impressive.
