Kentrell Garnett and freshman Chancellor White each scored a game-high 21 points and combined for 11 of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns 16 3-pointers in a 93-71 win over the LPB Red All-Stars in the final game of the San Juan Summer Shootout on Sunday at Coliseo Mario Quijote Morales.
Jordan Brown posted his second double-double in as many days with 14 points and 15 rebounds as Louisiana went 18-for-31 (58.1 percent) from the floor in the second half to earn a three-game sweep in its trip to Puerto Rico.
The freshman tandem of White and Kyran Ratliff each grabbed 11 rebounds with Isaiah Richards pulling down 10 as the Ragin' Cajuns held a 62-42 advantage on the glass while holding LPB Red to 2-for-18 from behind the 3-point line.
The Ragin' Cajuns held a 32-22 lead at the break, going 10-for-42 (23.8 percent) from the floor while holding LPB Red to 5-for-27 (18.5 percent) and 0-for-10 from long range. Louisiana pushed its lead to 52-45 after three periods behind 3-pointers from White, Garnett and freshman Vinny Sigona before outscoring LPB Red, 31-26, in the final 10 minutes.

Well, the PR teams were all stars of a semi pro league. Much like any sport, the term all stars is only relevant to the level of their peers. If three teams from non power conferences swept their all stars, it’s hard to gauge the three NCAA non power teams. Like someone posted, a chance at extra practice, team bonding and seeing a different culture were the takeaways.
Who started the rumor that we were supposed to only win one game? Was it Bob?
