Preseason Walk by the football players....

When is the preseason walk/parade by the football players? (fans and student invited)

Starts out at the Original football fields at Hebrard Blvd and the Quad, just NorthWest of Louisiana's priceless BullGator and Gator habitat, aka Campus Swamp.

The walk goes through the Campus Swamp into and through the Student Union where the Southwestern Stadium once stood on the other side of the Campus Swamp.

Down McKinley, crossing E. St. Mary and down Girard Park Circle through the old McNaspy Stadium location.

Right on E. Lewis Street to Johnston

Left on Johnston to CajunDome Blvd.

Right on Cajundome Blvd

Left into the current home of the Ragin' Cajuns, The Swamp and the future BullGator habitat.

It doesn’t have to be broad daylight.

Mid to high 80s by day, low 70s to high 60s by night in late August.

Traditions can start with zero attendance.

No, just a simple proposal/suggestion to kickstart every football season with a trip through tradition.

My suggestion goes through the Student Union. There's your parade spot.

Afterwards you can get in your car and wait for them at Cajun Field.

If walking is to strenuous on the players, they can do a golf cart parade.
