IMO MLB is in BIG trouble this year....There slot system and tax to go over will need to be revisited asap. They now have much stiffer competition for players that didn't exist pre NIL.

This will be 1st year they will have to compete directly with big dollar NIL offers to sign drafted prospects.

The slot system pretty much let's the SEC big donors know exactly how much they need to offer via NIL.

Baseball is not the cash cow like football and basketball. You might have a handful of guys getting decent NIL money.

If Shultz don't get picked look for him to be back as a GA pitching coach. His dad told me when he wasn't pitching last year he was right on side of Thib helping call pitches. He may even get that duty full time.

No Cajun's being picked today is not a surprised, there were none projected to go in the Top 10 rounds on any site.

In the final 10 rounds the max bonus is 120k. And not everyone will be offered that
