I hope he gets a shot, but it is an uphill battle. Has the heart for it, but I think he can be exploited in too many ways.

The guy has great ball skills, a high football IQ & isn't afraid to lay the wood on people. The question these days is how fast can he run? The NFL doesn't seem to care about ball skills & football IQ any more. It's all about that 4.3 forty yard dash. They know any goober that has great speed can cover punts or at least chase the ball down. So if a coach screws up on evaluation he can hide said player on special teams. until he dispatches him off the program.
Could he play safety in the NFL? My opinion is he definitely has what it takes to be a potentially great safety in the NFL. But he more than likely will never be given a real opportunity for that to occur.
