Amen brother. "Right on, Right on, Right on," to quote the greatest talk show host in the history of talk radio.

You still don't get it. It is not about "other entertainment". It is how the crowd gets involved in the football game. Don't you ever watch P5 schools and how the fans interact in games? It's not just sitting there watching the game that excites people, well maybe some people. Look at Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M. Their crowds are rowdy, fully engaged in the game. The game is an overall great experience including the tailgating. If you can't see the difference, then you are why UL only gets about 15,000 to attend our games outside of students who are empathetic towards football. It has to be an exciting overall experience or people just sit home and get their vicarious thrills on tv rather than an actual experience in the stadium. And, that is what they are doing. UL football games simply do not give people that experience that they see other schools having on tv. That is what UL needs to reevaluate and create.

Agreed. I had non-GA season tickets one year in what is now Section F, and the people that sat behind me always asked me to sit down on 3rd downs and other big moments. Half of that season I just went sit elsewhere.

That begs the question: Can this really be fixed?

And if the answer to that question is yes: Who is it that needs to fix it?

Year in and year out there are threads here that regurgitate the same old issues, complaints, suggestions, etc., about the "game experience" or "other entertainment" and nothing seems to happen. Who does this fall upon, the university administration, the athletic administration, RCAF, fans, coaches, students . . .

Why is there a constant begging and identification for more and NOTHING gets done?

I've never understood that either, unless the people were restricted physically in some manner. Nothing gets a crowd into a game like "down in front"!

Identify who (at UL) view social media as a nuisance and you will probably identify who is in charge of game day management.

Agreed, we already possess the longest win streak in FBS. Why not just keep it up.

Every Game I go to here lately gets more and more exciting with more and more wins. We are getting there. The SBC Championship game was probably the loudest and most entertaining game for me as a Cajun Fan. It was awesome for my boys to go on the field after the game as well.
