True, but what for example if NOLA Bowl were moved to December 27th every year as long as it didn't interfere with the Saints in the Dome. Wouldn't it be more attractive if played later, like after Christmas, than presently?

The 2022 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl will kick off on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. CST. The game will be televised on ESPN.

It’s actually been a midweek game many times. It used to be the first bowl game every year on a Tuesday.

Can we not set our sights a bit higher this year than the NOLA bowl? but..but..but, that means we'd have to travel more than a two hour drive away....but, but...really, when 3/4 of your "fan" base doesn't show up consistantly for home games, what does it matter where they play thier bowl game. Want big time, start saving your money and vacation days....

Only thing we can aim for that's higher than the NOLA bowl is a NY6 Bowl, which is always the aim. SBC bowl tie-ins aren't great at the moment.

What bowl would that be? Keep in mind unless we are the best G5 and qualify for a NY 6 bowl we are going to one of the bowls the sunbelt has a tie in with. Now we all know a NY 6 on this year is a tall order. So what Sunbelt tie in bowl would you prefer over NOLA?

How long ago? Was that back when No Tx. was participating as Belt champion? I don't think it has been since the Cajuns first trip.
