Gross, it's always been on Saturday. Why did it change this year?

It has been a mid week game at times.

Can we not set our sights a bit higher this year than the NOLA bowl? but..but..but, that means we'd have to travel more than a two hour drive away....but, but...really, when 3/4 of your "fan" base doesn't show up consistantly for home games, what does it matter where they play thier bowl game. Want big time, start saving your money and vacation days....

Only thing we can aim for that's higher than the NOLA bowl is a NY6 Bowl, which is always the aim. SBC bowl tie-ins aren't great at the moment.

What bowl would that be? Keep in mind unless we are the best G5 and qualify for a NY 6 bowl we are going to one of the bowls the sunbelt has a tie in with. Now we all know a NY 6 on this year is a tall order. So what Sunbelt tie in bowl would you prefer over NOLA?

It’s actually been a midweek game many times. It used to be the first bowl game every year on a Tuesday.

How long ago? Was that back when No Tx. was participating as Belt champion? I don't think it has been since the Cajuns first trip.

Both latech games against stAte and Georgia southern were midweek I believe. The most recent being in 2020

If that is the case then my cousin got married mid week because I had to look at all those nechs from ruston. LOL Tech A State was definitely on a weekend I was there for a wedding.
