Each of the major sports has a preseason RCAF social. It used to be 1000 to the annual fund. Now it is a total 3000 contribution. Invitees will get an email with a request to RSVP. The football one will be in August. Basketball for both men and women will be held in late October or early November. The diamond sports will have one in February. At least that is what has happened in the past other than during the Covid year of 2020-21. Difference this year is the Grousse Room vs the City Club is hosting the Football event.

I agree that the 3000 cutoff is way too high. Should be 1500 at most. My former company matches donations even for retirees. That allows me to afford things I normally would not.

Let’s put together our own sub-3000 Cajun social at Marley’s/Legends and throw a funner party and buy fellow bar patrons $25 RCAF memberships and hand out koozies.
