Band in BR does one of the most important things for their environment. Gets fans into the stadium early for the pregame show. Our fans trickle in until halftime.

You guys don't get it. This is not a band thread. It is about creating an atmosphere at UL games that attracts people, keeps them engaged and invested in UL football and coming back. We don't have that like other schools do. Whatever we are doing isn't working and needs to be addressed.

Using that damn Bell might help....in general, just a total lack of creativity with the assets available. Acadiana is a treasure trove of musical talent, invite artists to be a part of pregame....but ring that bell constantly 20 minutes, 30 minutes prior to pregame...signal somethings starting to happen, finish that beer and that BS story you've been telling and get into the stadium.

You are absolutely correct. Each has their own respective agenda's here and not a one of them is it "getting it"

Won't help. It'll just let people know they have time to down 3 more Coors lights and tell 3 more BS stories.

Have you ever heard the bell? I was once in an empty cajun field in the north end zone and the bell started to ring. I could barely hear it.

Pregame power hour inside the stadium. $1 natty lights up until Cajuns run on the field. Get local sponsors to donate for a 5k t-shirt sponsorship. First 5k fans in get a t-shirt.

Bad idea. It would take more than that to draw folks.
