Right. But also keep in mind in four years napier never started a QB that he recruited. Should we read anything into that? Does that mean he didn’t recruit a better QB than the last guy?

Many here definitely should not read anything into that as for three years they were whining and complaining about Napier playing Levi instead of various QB's recruited by Napier that were on the bench. Here they are and we should be just fine based upon those mounds of evaluations over the past three years.

I’ve always understood Leger is known as one of the best Louisiana recruiters. Not sure where I heard that or if true. I’m sure T could expound

I don't keep up with it like I use to but according to a few that worked within the staff, Des is very good in state with his connections with the high school coaches. Burris, Morgan and Munoz have done well in Texas. Leger has done well in the past, so recruiting should not be a major concern as long as the program continues to win.

I’m ok with 3 years. I want Des to move to bigger and better things. That would mean success as a program and we weren’t a flash in the pan.

If he is successful, I do not see Des moving to bigger and better things. I think he will stay and continue to build the program. He said “it’s personal” to him.

Lamar Morgan coached at Houston under Belk, at Vandy under Minter who was with the ravens before Vandy and now Michigan. Also here under Robert’s and Toney.

Munoz coached at LSU and Baylor

Jeff Burris- Miami dolphins and Notre Dame

Giuliani-Buffalo bills, jets, Louisville and Arkansas

Bergeron-Southern miss , Arizona state

Norrid-13 years in the SEC Arkansas, auburn and Alabama

Ross-Mississippi state

Scott-tulsa, Memphis Virginia tech

Thomas- South Carolina

Paschall-Oklahoma state, ole miss and UNC

Connor neighbors- LSU and Alabama

Coach Desormeaux seems to be doing just fine with having a staff with P5 experience. Desormeaux was one of our best recruiters under Napier as well.

Right recruiting doesn’t seem to be an issue. Looking forward to assessing how the off season went and what they look like coming into the season and Des’ in game management and play calling. It’s gonna be a fun transitional year.

Bingo! Game management is something a head coach can only learn through experience. Billy Napier had to learn it as well, but having coaches like Leger, Viator and Munoz will help ease the transition for Coach Des. There will a learning curve.
