With UTSA just moving to AAC I doubt they would afford another move for a while. A lateral one at that.

You're right, its money driven. The money would need to be quite a bit more to peel them off. The new AAC add ons are being paid less than the holdovers for a few years before receiving a full cut so there's that. AAC allowed itself become to CUSA light and if SMU leaves that's more instability. That's why I speculated about UTSA/MWC thought.

PAC is in trouble. They will have to make a move and pull from either the MWC or the AAC. That will weaken both of those conferences. It’s not done more to move. SBC need to either stay 100% together or Cajuns need to find a way to the Big 12. Those are the only options.

SDSU makes the most sense. But that is a ____ show right now

68k enrollment is a boat load of student fees.

SBC looking better all the time.
Colorado, Utah, Zona and Zona St. They are all going. Just a matter of time.

They’ll move again. At some point, they will be used to replace Florida St. in the ACC, after they move to the SEC.

Why? The Big12 is stronger than the ACC at this point.

...As we get these different schools and where they headed, I think what UL might lack from saying the big 12……atttendance….we get 40k and we could as these teams come to Lafayette……we have the facilities with the new stadium and the last year has shown step ups in all major sports…..R1 academic success……Cajun culture and name!

Boomer what we are doing to the stadium is so far removed from what the Big 12 has as far as facilities. It isn’t even comparable.

    Stop with the big12 nonsense
