No to Tech. Not today. Not ever! Blows my mind that any UL fan would EVER want to do them any favors. Not no, but HELL NO!
Regarding Oregon, Mr. Nike’ has spoken.

Only stumbling block to any move may be the governor, who may want a package deal with OSU.
And this nugget…UCLA was looking at shuttering some Olympic sports before this move went down.

Tech should be in the same boat to hell with the Lake Charles bunch for the same basic reasons. They’ll do anything to hold anyone other than LSU back. And the sad part is Tech should understand given 1) they’re a state wide university as defined by the legislature like UL, and 2) UL and Tech were never part of the LSU system…the only ones.
……I didn’t realize that they still had the extra Ls or Lafs on the scoreboards when we played there…….ah SORRY… NO FAVORS GUYS! As was pointed out, they do everything to hold us back…….we have a present opportunity to set apart ourselves in athletics and in academics, the timing is now, so let’s get to it!…….we are R1 which is huge along with the Sbelt……ltur is a true equal or more in baseball and mens basketball, and this needs to be addressed!
BREAKING: The Big 12 is in “deep discussions” to add 6 teams to their conference, per @dennisdoddcbs.

The 6 teams include Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. pic.twitter.com/LcTndUbAAO
LA Tech has an athletic budget that is 10 million less than us annually. They are not in our league literally and figuratively. This is by their design. UL is now superior.
If this happens it will get ugly quick, because I don’t think pac-12 will go quietly into the night…..I feel bad for standford, OSU, and WSU. Cal can go the way of the dodo if all I care. I think standford would go Indy and OSU, WSU would probably join the mountain west.
