My prediction. The SBC West has 4 teams with 1 loss each and those will have additional losses. USA has 1 win and USM has not yet played a conference game. UL is a handful of plays from being undefeated. Having the extra days to regroup and prepare for Marshall gives UL new focus. UL beats Marshall to turn this season around, then wins out and wins the Western Division.

UL no longer controls its own fate. Having 2 division loses hurts the worse since tie breakers go by division records.

Maybe a 3 way tie with 3 teams having 2 losses and we somehow win the tie breaker. Example. Troy beats south, we beat troy. And somehow they both end up with 2 losses.

But I’ll take a winning record and bowl game in this medicine season.
