Already at 9,300. That’s pretty impressive. Any idea where we are at? Don’t we typically top out at around 7?

Yes, our conference peers are excited about football. App State, the SBC Championship runner up, has already exceeded 10,000 season tickets sold.
Is the ticket drive still in the silent phase?
Roughly 4500
When the stadium is way too large for the fan base there is no incentive for casual fans to purchase season tickets.
If you cannot sell season tickets while on a 13 game winning streak there is a problem. And it is not a University problem, it is an alumni and community support problem.
BINGO. Found out the other day that one of my wife’s cousins who went to UL and never set foot on campus in BR is buying 6 A&M tickets for the first time this year. I would love to believe otherwise, but this just seems like it will always be an A&M town. App and ODU don’t have powerhouse football programs to contend with in their own states. NIL will only swing things further in the favor of the P&G.
Baseball Example. A&M fans disrespect USM to the fullest and act like they will stroll in to Hattiesburg and destroy USM. A&M players admit to overlooking the Eagles. The Eagles win the regional. Today one of USM’s best pitchers hits the portal. #1 rumored destination: BR. It’s just too far beyond gone, IMO.
Lafayette absolutely sucks when it comes to supporting the Cajuns. It’s embarrassing.
So true. I’m pretty sure that every Cajuns game I’ve been to ended with almost entirely empty stands, and I’ve been to a lot of Cajuns games! It’s even more pathetic when you realize most of the crowd leaves at halftime, and it’s so stupid to me that most of those people leaving at halftime are students. You would think Students would stay to represent their team… but nope! It’s unbelievable!!
Need to have daily advertising for ticket sales
Tv and radio.
I think the Cajun team this year will surprise people
Agree. There are so many people that I know personally, that I sat next to in the stands as students, in the late 80s and early 90s, once they graduated, got a job, and a little money they became A&M at BR season ticket holders and TAF members. Heck one of my fraternity brothers goes as far as, calling on people in Houston, and telling them he went to La St at BR, and he never stepped foot in a classroom there. I just don’t get the lack of loyalty to the school you graduated from. I’ll never understand that mentality.
