That’s great news, because according to the self proclaimed know it all on this message board “it has been a fore gone conclusion for a long time that he is transferring here”.

I do not know who is getting best NIL deal at UL. Would not be surprised if it is a MBB player. Someone like Zion Hill or Chris Smith in FB could be near the top.

Wish the kid would have given himself a fighting chance. The Free agent route isnt an easy route to the big leagues. Best of luck.

Is there an easy route? Free agent deal with mid round signing bonus. Once your in the organization if your not one of the top few round million dollar guys they don't look at where you were drafted and how much you are making. They look at your performance you either got it or you don't got it. Free agent or mid through late rounds won't make a difference if you get it done on the field. If he goes out and has some really strong performances they won't ask about where he was drafted or how much he signed for before bumping him up a level or 2.

Gotta disagree with you on this. The more money your paid they will always give you more of a shot. I still stand by what we last talked about. I feel this is a bad move on Drew part and he needed more seasoning. A UDFA life is almost always miserable. See Dax Kerstad.

They will give a drafted kid 5x more opportunity than a free agent.
