Chipper got a HUGE NIL deal for transferring to ULM.

Just kidding, have no idea why he left.
Good luck to him except when he plays us.

Heard free Johnny’s pizza on the 1st and 15th each month.

Wish him the best in life.

I find it quite refreshing that you could post something, then find out it wasn't correct, then appreciate when you find the correct info. Let's startt this movement across RP.

This 32 oz bud is for you Big Buds!

I also wish him the best, except of course when he comes up against the Cajuns. I always thought he had good stuff, just needed better consistency. Now with the transfer portal and NIL deals, I wonder if the age of "water hose guys" is coming to an end?

    I sure hope not.

Maybe someone more informed can correct me, but I was told that Johnny (of Johnny’s pizza) went through a divorce and his wife was awarded the franchise.

He then moved down south (of the state) or maybe he was awarded the franchise and she moved south…either way…and whoever it was that moved south opened another pizza joint using the same recipes.

And they named it “BJs”, as in…better than Johnny’s.

After I was told this, I had Johnny’s for the first time, and if I’m being honest, it seemed like the story was true. VERY similar.

Chipper owes us a few wins for all the leads he’s blown.

True or not, it's good! The story, not necessarily the pizza.

Johnny is in his 80's so this would have had to happen a long time ago. He still is up in Monroe and has a 2 parking spots very close to the entrance of the football stadium.

I worked for Johnny’s growing up in Alexandria when it changed to BJ’s. I thought it was a partnership splitting the franchise between Funroe and Cenla. I have noticed there are Johnnys once again in Cenla though. It might be a two part story.

We got Johnny’s on the way out in 2020. I thought it was delicious. I am a big fan of BJ’s though. It also could have been the 37 beers I drank that day as well.
