I worked for Johnny’s growing up in Alexandria when it changed to BJ’s. I thought it was a partnership splitting the franchise between Funroe and Cenla. I have noticed there are Johnnys once again in Cenla though. It might be a two part story.
The other partners’ first name was Fred. He was a civil engineer I do remember that. They changed the Johnnys to BJ’s around 1982.
Johnny’s is what people in Monroe think is good pizza.
