Team seemed to always play with an extra spark when Brad was in the game. The comeback he helped orchestrate against stAte in ‘08 is an all time Cajun Field memory.
Very sad to hear. RIP. Says in the article from 1420 that he was finishing up medical school.
Shocked to hear. He was way too young to pass so soon. He was very talented on and off the field. Prayers sent for his family. What a rough couple days for Cajun Nation.
RIP Brad
Copied this from a lady who commented about the accident. Zooming in on the photo Brad’s truck caught on fire. I pray he was killed instantly. Horrendously tragic and sad situation. Her comment:

I was the second person to stop to try to help. We just couldn’t get those doors open. God knows we tried 😢
Don't even know what to say, what a gut punch. RIP Brad.
He had infectious positive energy. Praying for his family.
RIP Ragin Cajun
A tough week just got tougher...
Just awful news. RIP
Terrible. I always thought of him when I drove though Gulf Breeze. Happened last month. Heading to Jacksonville on Tuesday too.
I still remember that win he lead at home vs. stAte in 2008 filling in for Mike. He threw a pick 6 in the middle of the 4th to put the red wolves up 2 scores but lead the comeback. We were out of town, listening to it on the radio and popped a bottle of champagne afterwards. I was sure that would have put us on the road to a bowl game.
Just a matter of opinion, but no one benefits from seeing the pictures of an accident on the news. As a former first responder and someone that lost a parent in a vehicle accident, I hate how media does that. Don't want to detract from the thread, but was kind of shocked to see the photo on 1420. Understanding they just reposted the FHP tweet.
Brad McGuire was one of my favorites that have played at UL. I followed him through his recruitment and spoke to his parents while he was playing here several times. He was the type of guy that would do anything to help his team. And he was a good young man. It's tragic to lose another young person, and personally sad for me as well.
