Good for Ian. He's too good for this market.

I just happened to be listening to KPEL this morning when he announced it. It was touching to hear Bernadette getting emotional about him.

Best of luck to you Ian, and your family! We will see (hear) you in the fall!

Damn, I thoroughly enjoyed him in on the morning show. He was great at tactfully knocking down bad takes by either guests or Bernie. Also excellent at interviews.

    That is a good dude.

Easily was the best and commentator around this area. Not even close. Lafayette radio has gone to sh--t. Best of luck to him.

If there's anyone I'd love to see be Jay's replacement as voice for the Cajuns, it would be Ian. Really sad to see him go. He's the best we have in this market for sure.

Also, I hope he gets to read these and know how much he is appreciated.

I kind of figured he would be leaving since his fiancee works for WWL in New Orleans. He got a job with WWL.

Ian had actually moved to New Orleans a couple of months ago and was, for the most part, doing his show remotely. It was only a matter of time.

The demise of Lafayette radio is officially complete. What a fall from grace.

Throw in the Daily Disaster and The Acadiana Advocate and you have the trifecta from hell.
